Lying Leg Extension
Muscle action
: stretches the hamstrings.
1) Lie
face up with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
2) Wrap a
strap or towel around the ball of your right foot and straighten your
right knee as far as you can.
3) Straighten
your left leg out along the floor as much as you straightened the right
one.
4) Flex the
right foot, and push out through both heels.
5) Keep the
right hip, shoulder blades and neck in contact with the floor.
6) Hold the
pose, slowly return to the starting position, then repeat on other side.
