Fixed Bar Triceps Extensions : To
develop and fully stretch the triceps muscles.
Using the fixed bar triceps extensions
movement, you can completely stretch the triceps muscles more safely
than with any other triceps exercise.
1) Using a fixed horizontal bar
positioned at about waist height, grasp the bar with an overhand grip,
hands about shoulder width apart.
2) Lock your arms out to support your
weight, then move your feet back until you are in a semi push-up
position above the bar.
3) Bend your arms and lower your body
so that your head comes down below and under the bar as far as possible
when performing the fixed bar triceps extension exercise.
4) When you feel the maximum stretch in
your triceps muscles, press forward with your arms and raise yourself
back to the starting position of fixed bar triceps extensions workout,
arms locked out.
