Radial Flexion

Radial Flexion

RADIAL FLEXION (hand abduction)

If you know a carpenter or a blacksmith, then you know someone who has wide and flaring forearms muscle. They got them from this movement - radial flexion. You, too, can use a hammer or a series of progressively heavier hammers, but in their absence, you can always find plenty of bars in the gym to duplicate this radial flexion exercise.

To perform radial flexion, we stand upright and hold the bar, palm in, at arm's length at our side. Then, while trying to keep our arm steady, raise the bar as high as possible. Remember to get a full contraction and extension when performing this radial flexion workout.
