BENCH PRESS FOR UPPER CHEST

The ideal way to bench press for upper chest is with a Smith machine, since the bar travels up and down along a guide rod in a fixed position. If a Smith machine is not available, use a barbell and regular flat bench.

With hands slightly wider than shoulder width, bring the bar down to just below the neck. At the bottom position, make sure your elbows are back toward your head. Complete 10-14 reps using the bench press workout to build your upper chest muscle.
