EZ-Bar Preacher Curl
preacher curl is a terrific biceps
muscle mass builder. Get into position on the preacher bench, tucking
the bench up into your armpits so you can not cheat by pulling back with
your body. Have your partner hand you the bar. We prefer to lock our
wrists because the torque created just adds too much stress.
Slowly raise the
bar up to maximum contractions, squeeze the biceps muscle at the top,
then slowly lower the bar. Slow resistance on the downward portion
during the EZ-bar preacher curl works
the biceps muscle eccentrically. As with barbell curls, do preachers
strictly to failure before giving in to cheating which will let you do a
couple of additional reps.
