Lateral
Epicondylitis is named tennis elbow because tennis players tend to
suffer from this, due to poor backhand techniques or a bad grip. Here,
inflammation of the tendon that attaches to the bony bit on the outside
of the arm or elbow is the culprit.
Tennis elbow
symptoms : Pain on the bony bit on the outside of the elbow and weakness
in the wrist.
Lateral
Epicondylitis treatment : Rest and ice the injured part for two days.
Have the neck examined as well. Surgery may be required if the condition
fails to heal with usual treatments.
